Kathryn’s Bridal is a proud supporter of Brides Against Breast Cancer, a 501(c)(3) a nonprofit organization and an Atlanta, Georgia based charity. The mission of Brides Against Breast Cancer (BABC) is “to decrease the prevalence and impact of breast cancer through early awareness and detection education.”
The organization works to support Breast Cancer Research, Early Detection Education programs and Legislative efforts. Brides Against Breast Cancer began in 1997 to stop the development of breast cancer and ultimately save lives. In 2018, BABC was thrilled to be featured on an episode of the TV Show “NCIS: Los Angeles.” Later in 2018, The New York Times published an article about the benefits of the BABC charity.
BABC operates to help and serve others in need, making it a truly special and worthwhile organization. Expense efficiency has been kept minimal since its inception with the overwhelming majority of Management as Volunteers. That key fact is what impressed Kathryn Trocki, owner of Kathryn’s Bridal, “We wanted to be certain our gown donations were not used for staff salaries but to help those actually impacted by cancer.”
Over the past 25 years, the charity has raised over $25 million dollars for breast cancer causes. To learn more about Brides Against Breast Cancer, or to make a personal donation, visit www.BridesAgainstBreastCancer.org
