We all love a local love story! And today, we’re so happy to be featuring high school sweethearts Gina and Brandon.

“Brandon and I met in middle school and started dating our sophomore year of high school. During college we went our separate ways but once we were both back living at home we rekindled and started dating again in 2016. In August of 2021, we became engaged!

The couple decided upon a traditional ceremony at Saint Anne’s Catholic Church in Barrington followed by an elegant reception at Avante Banquets in Fox River Grove. The bride’s overall vision was to combine a bit of vintage and traditional flair while still feeling fresh and modern. Fortunately, the venue was perfectly decorated with beautiful soft hues and touches of gold. “I loved the icy blue color of my bridesmaids dresses and the look of hydrangeas for a wedding. My engagement ring is gold so I included soft gold as an accent color.

Gina’s gown was named “Kathy A” from Kathryn’s Private Collection. It was perfectly created for a classic, modern bride. Our “Private Collection” is a hand curated selection of chic wedding gowns by our owner, Kathryn. Each dress is style exclusive to our boutique and includes the couture details, luxury fabrics and sophisticated designs you dream of.
