Congratulations to our newlyweds Kristen and Mike!

“Mike & I met in the fall of 2019. I was a charge nurse in the ER, and he was a fireman/paramedic in the town where we both worked. We began dating just before the pandemic launched, and navigating the aftermath together brought us even closer. Three years later, he proposed to me by a campfire under the stars, surrounded by cocktail lights,” shares Kristen.

This gorgeous pair chose to celebrate their love at Lake Geneva's chic and sleek Ridge Hotel. Parked along the wooded Lake Como shoreline with a lush lawn, it was the perfect location for their spectacular outdoor ceremony.

The bride selected the “Brooklyn” from international designer, Maggie Sottero. A backless A-line bridal dress silhouette with subtle nude illusion lace and an intricate scalloped train. It is a bold pattern lace with a relaxed, modern vibe. The neutral dreamy tones of her bouquet from Remington’s Flowers elevated her look to beyond perfection.

“I loved everything about Kathryn’s from the moment I stepped through the doors. The ambience is sophisticated & yet down-to-earth and welcoming. Every single dress is a stunner! I was impressed that my stylist allowed me and my mom to browse the dresses & select a few before suggesting anything; it made me feel like I was allowed to direct the process, unlike other bridal shops that insisted on choosing for me. Kathryn’s offered a flawless & curated experience while only being 2 miles from home. Thank you to every one of you, I couldn’t be happier that I chose Kathryn’s,” ~ real bride Kristen.
