Part 2 of the dream wedding of Madi and Tom continues…
After their elegant and magical “Great Irish Wedding” what could possibly be on the horizon for these two newlyweds? The couple decided to have a large celebration back in the states with 300+ guests.
Consistent with their love of adventure, wildlife and lakes, they chose The Wilderness Game Reserve, in Phelps, Wisconsin. Fortunately, their beloved dogs Ghost and Layla were finally able to participate in this second wedding party.
And, according to the bride, ”they were the bells of the ball!
Madi and Tom took a hands-on approach to the planning and decor of this relaxed event. “We did our own food, flowers, and decor! Our favorite part was the Raw Bar and Cigar Bar. It took over a year to collect all of the vintage furniture, rugs, candelabras, and decanters thrifted from various markets.” The result was an inviting, atmosphere of unique details and memories to last a life-time.
The bride’s gown was the perfect blend of low-key elegance and clean modern lines. The soft Lace over English Net with Stretch Lining in a halter style has luxury lace embellishments and a keyhole back. The dress is ultra comfortable for an outdoor event under the warm summer skies. We’re going to name this encore celebration the “Great Wisconsin Reception!”
