October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. And, Kathryn’s Bridal is a proud supporter of Brides Against Breast Cancer (BABC), a 501(c)(3) Nonprofit organization and charity focused on finding finding a cure for this complex disease. The BABC organization began in 1997 to support Breast Cancer Research, Early Detection Education programs and Legislative efforts to ultimately save lives.

What Makes BABC Extraordinary
The New York Times published an article in 2018 about the benefits of the BABC charity and how it operates to help and serve others in need affected by Breast Cancer, making it a truly special and worthwhile organization. An extraordinary fact about the BABC organization is that the overwhelming majority of Management and Workers are Volunteers. Expense efficiency has been kept minimal since its inception to maximize its contribution to the cause. That type of personal commitment is what impressed Kathryn Trocki, owner of Kathryn’s Bridal, “We wanted to align ourselves with a charity that would best use our donations to help save the lives of those impacted by cancer.”

How Kathryn's is Involved to Fight Breast Cancer
Kathryn’s Bridal is pro-actively involved in being a part of the cure by organizing and determining which dresses will be packed and shipped directly to BABC on a regular basis. “Our team is proud of our ongoing donations to Brides Against Breast Cancer because we know it makes someone's dream wedding come true while supporting a great cause,” shares Kathryn. “We all know someone suffering from the disease and it’s important to do whatever we can to help.”

How to Make a Donation
Over the past 25+ years, the BABC charity has raised over $25 million dollars for breast cancer causes. To learn more about Brides Against Breast Cancer, or to make a personal donation, visit www.BridesAgainstBreastCancer.org
